Hi everyone, my name is Kobi Stok, and I’m the CEO and co-founder at Forwrd, 

and today I’m going to quickly explain what is predictive analytics and why you should care.

First, let’s review what is analytics. Analytics is a process of collecting and analyzing data to gain insights into trends and patterns. Traditional analytics provides me a way to see what happened, historically, until today.

For example, I can see a trend of my closed opportunities from September 2022 until today. 

With predictive analytics, I can extend my view even further. I can make predictions on what will happen in the future. For example, I can predict how many opportunities I will have in February 2023.

This allows me to do 3 things: 

Allocate resources efficiently, 

prioritize my prospects better, 

and respond faster to risks. 

For instance, predicting that there won’t be enough opportunities in February, can alert me to call an all-hands-on-deck  meeting, in order to find new ways to increase the number of opportunities and improve our pipeline.
